What is Gumroad?

Momente Rekorder sells products and files via Gumroad. Gumroad is an external SaaS system service provider that is responsible for the e-commerce process and which is integrated on this website. You can create a Gumroad account, but it is not mandatory.  

Why Gumroad?

Momente Rekorder itself does not offer an e-commerce shop on this website for several reasons. We have chosen and implemented Gumroad as one of the leading and most popular and easy to implement e-commerce system platforms developed for independent artists, bloggers, writers and countless other professionals who want to sell digital products worldwide. User Account / Future downloads

If you want to download your files in the future, you are free to open a Gumroad user account. The advantage of having an account with Gumroad is that you can access and re-download the purchased files at any time. If you have an account with Gumroad and log in during the checkout process or are already logged in, you can then immediately add the purchased products to your account. 

However, you do not necessarily need a Gumroad account. You can also simply click on the link in the email you received when you made your purchase. You may need to identify yourself by entering the email address you used when making the purchase.

File downloads / Invoice

Download your purchased files

After you make a purchase through Gumroad, you will receive a link via email from Momente Rekorder / Gumroad to download your purchased files to the email address you provided in the purchase process.  In this email you will find the option to add these files to your Gumroad library for future downloads. There is also an option to generate an invoice if you need it.

Installation / Files

Installing Ableton Live Packs

To install the Ableton Live Packs, simply double-click the .alp file you want to install. Ableton Live opens (if it wasn't already open) and prompts you to choose a location to unpack and save the Live Pack. To do this, choose a location in your file system and click Next. The Live Pack is now unpacked and installed, and is available in the previously selected location. If the Live Pack contains sampler instruments or racks, you will usually find them in the Patches folder (named Patches or with the release name). Audio loops can be found in the Audio Loops folder.

You can now move the unzipped folder or the files from it to any location, such as your User Library or your personally preferred structure.

Audio loops can be found in the Audio loops folder after installing the .alp file. You can now move the files from it to any location, e.g. your user library or your personally preferred structure.

Kontakt instruments

After unzipping the downloaded folder, you can access all the .nki Kontakt instruments it contains directly from Kontakt's built-in file browser. Either navigate to the unzipped folder in the Kontakt file browser opened for this purpose and then double-click to open the files, or drag and drop the .nki files (e.g. PresetXYZ.nki) into the open Kontakt main window. This also usually works directly from the open folder. However, the folder structure within the unzipped Momente Recorder Kontakt releases should not be changed in the process (i.e. .nkc, .nkr and the Samples folder). See Readme.txt in your purchased file. If you are running into error messages or other difficulties, just drop us a mail describing your problem to support@momenterekorder.com.

*** IMPORTANT NOTICE ***
You need the full version of Kontakt 6 as a minimum requirement to use our files. The free Kontakt player will most likely not work. The Kontakt files from Momente Recorder will not load into the Kontakt Library Browser. Only distributions created and licensed by Native Instruments can be installed into the Kontakt Browser and made available to the free Kontakt Player. Since this is very cost intensive and more suitable for distributors who earn a certain income by selling such a version, this is not an option at the moment, so we distribute our Kontakt instruments ourselves.
